Large Multi Retailer Shopfitting Project

RCI Contracts have completed shopfitting projects for major retailers, such as Mothercare taking them from an empty shell to a trading store.

The work involves full installation including the co-ordination and management of directly employed trades and services such as electrical and mechanical, lift installation etc leaving the store in prestige condition.

Refits to existing in town stores for retailers such as Mothercare, Clarks and Co-Operative Travel are carried out with the same high standard of workmanship, working along side the retail team to enable many of the stores to continue trading whilst work is being completed.

Specialist Design Shopfitting & Installation

The Westminster Abbey project involved the design and total refurbishment of the Gift Shop in a unique and bespoke manner specific to the renowned historic location, this included electrical & mechanical installation, new flooring and bespoke joinery.

We were initially invited to submit a design along with other contractors and as part of the process we had to present our design concept to the Board Of Directors. We were delighted to be told that we had won the tender as we had "completely eclipsed the competition" and that we were not to "dilute the design in any way". We now have a long standing relationship with our client and they know they can call on us at any time.

Display cabinets and wall units were manufactured to display the vast array of their merchandise. The completed project whilst reflecting the grandeur of Westminster Abbey has improved customer flow due to the design and layout.

Independent Retailer and Bespoke Retail Shop Fit

Various shopfitting projects have been carried out to refit independent opticians and high street stores throughout the UK and Europe alike working closely with design teams to meet the Client's exacting standards. The projects range from minor alterations to complete store refits. Many of these projects are carried out whilst trade continues.

Whibleys the Jewellers

Our first project for Whibleys the Jewellers was fitting out new premises in Horsham, this included the design and installation of a period style shop front with window dislays and lighting to compliment the theme.

This quickly led to a refit of an existing trading store. The refit was carried out whilst the shop continued to trade, working along side staff and customers in a non obtrusive manner. We have now completed a number of highly successful refits and are proud to have forged a strong working partneship with the Company.

Mothercare Landmark Concept Store

Having worked with Mothercare before, we were invited to build their new concept store in Liverpool. We dealt with all the contractors on behalf of the client ensuring that all of the work was completed to a high standard, taking this store from a blank canvas into a wonderful new development.

Our completed work was well received by our client who wrote "totally professional and dedicated to providing a superb standard"

ELC New Design Concept Store

This project for Early Learning Centre was a new concept design, where we worked hand in glove with the designers to provide a practical solution.

The refit was completed in phases to allow trading to continue without any loss of opening times. We worked in harmony with the staff and customers alike, with as little disruption as possible.
